Ken Ramaley, founder of Ramaley Group LLC, a digital transformation consultancy specializing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), faced significant challenges in scaling his business.. "In the early days, I was absolutely a one-guy shop, trading my time for money, and there was a limit to how much time I had available," Ken recalls. His consultancy specialized in optimizing business processes before digitizing them. But despite his expertise, he struggled to find new opportunities and scale his operations. Ken's financial constraints as a solo consultant added to his hesitations about investing in marketing and growth. "Every penny I spent was a penny I wasn't going to be spending on my mortgage or rent," he admits.

"This year, I'm going to do probably $1.8 million, maybe $2 million, depending on how the last half of the year goes." Ken's consultancy transformed from a one-man operation into a thriving business with multiple employees and subcontractors. "I've got a team of 5 working on execution and a leadership team of 3 more fractional resources.” " he details.

"In August of 2022, I took most of the month off, and my business was able to keep running and making me money.This has given me time to invest in and collaborate with my growing team." he shares.
