Are you constantly searching for advice to common problems facing people in business?
If so, then you’ll enjoy Michael Dalton Johnson’s new book, Rules of the Hunt: Real-World Advice for Entrepreneurial and Business Success.
Dalton Johnson has been in the business world for over 30 years and is the founder of SalesDog.com
There are 10 chapters in this book, each with many short and to the point bits of advice.
Some of what you’ll learn…
- What to do if your customers don’t call back.
- Why you need to bootstrap your business.
- The importance of offering a high-end version of your product/service.
- Why you really need to KNOW your buyer.
- What information you need to include in your marketing materials.
- Tips on productivity and work life balance.
- Plus a whole lot more.
I’ve been in the business of consulting for over 11 years…and still found great advice throughout this book.
My only issue with the book is that I found some of the points being repeated (given, in a slightly different setting)…and other points came off as sounding far too basic.
This is an easy read. Each piece of advice is only a half page or so…which makes digesting each one very easy.
That said, there is value to be had in this book regardless of what stage you are at in business.
The book has been endorsed by some heavy hitters, including:
Jeffrey Gitomer, Seth Godin, Bob Bly, Brian Tracy, Jill Konrath and others.

Overall, great book worth a read.
